Our journey started twenty years ago, when Klaus, Oliver and Jürgen founded karriere.at in the heart of Linz (Austria), pioneering as the first digital job platform in the country alongside traditional newspaper listings. Today, karriere.at is Austria’s leading job and career platform, serving 4.5 million monthly users and a significant number of corporate entities in Austria. Together with the open innovation platform Plug and Play Tech Center, karriere.at hosted the first Recruiting Innovation Night on 15 November 2023. On this evening, 6 start-ups from the HR tech sector presented their innovative solutions for the current challenges in recruiting. In addition, Angela Steck, ÖBB, Stefanie Wunsch, Österreichische Post AG, Iris Brachmaier, UNIQA Insurance Group AG, and Georg Konjovic, CEO karriere.at, led an exciting panel discussion on the topic of the skills fit gap.
